The Journal of Cetacean Research and Management is an open access and peer reviewed journal which publishes original research on the conservation and management of whales, dolphins and porpoises. 
 
The 70th meeting of the IWC takes place between 28th September and 2nd October 2026. Therefore, during September and October 2026, the Secretariat will pause work on any new submissions in order to support this meeting. You are welcome to continue to submit research to JCRM, but please be aware that there may be a delay in acknowledging your submission and initiating the review process.
